Come Enjoy A Spectacular Night Under The ⭐️ Stars !
Look Up Tours is pleased to announce we are NOW offering personalized and custom astronomy tours by professional astronomers and night sky guides.
Our tour will include a summary of the constellations, a close up view of planets, galaxies, star clusters and nebula through our professional, high powerful telescopes.
We are a team of exceptionally knowledgeable astronomers/guides whose extensive experience includes deep space observations from a lengthy career in the US Air Force and astrophotography - providing you with a fun, educational and fascinating night sky experience.
Join us for a 2 hour cosmic journey ~ astronomy experience at our dark sky site just a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs, CO.
Colorado Springs is located an hour south of Denver at an altitude of nearly 7000' which give perfect conditions to observe the night sky like you have never seen before.
Upon arriving at our dark sky location we will begin with a short briefing introducing guests to the astro-guides followed by a short description of the celestial objects that are observable this specific night.
Our tour will include a summary of the constellations and a close up view of planets, galaxies, star clusters and nebula through our professional telescopes pointed out by high powered lasers. Each night the sky is changing due to the earth's rotation so each night the observations can be different. The deep sky objects we usually observe are: Jupiter, Saturn, the moon, galaxies, nebulas and star clusters.
For your convenience, we also provide chairs and water bottles to keep you comfortable. Feel free to bring any type of snacks, something hot to drink and a blacket. Restrooms are available on location.
We keep our groups at no larger than 10 people so that everyone is assured a personal and unique experience.
Our up close view of the night sky will include an overview of the constellations, galaxies, nebulas and planets.
We use professional, state-of-the-art telescopes and high powered laser pointers to guide you under the canopy of the brilliant, starry sky.
Come enjoy a spectacular night under the ⭐️ stars ! We would love to host you, your family & friends for a personalized astronomy tour.
