Arches National Park is an International Dark Sky Park, as acknowledged by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA), signifies that the area offers an extraordinary and celebrated experience of celestial beauty, making it an ideal location for night photographers seeking to capture the splendor of the night sky.
We invite you to join us on this an immersive astrophotography workshop in August 2025, set against the breathtaking, moonless landscapes of Arches National Park, renowned for its remarkable geological formations that provide an extraordinary setting for capturing the night sky.
This comprehensive 4 night photography workshop is designed to offer extensive instruction and guidance in the art of astrophotography.
You will gain essential skills for navigating in low-light conditions, utilizing PhotoPills to identify optimal compositions, determining appropriate exposure settings for night photography, and mastering the techniques for focusing in darkness.
Arches National Park is home to more than 2,000 natural stone arches, alongside an array of majestic pinnacles, enormous fins, and colossal balanced rocks.
In our photographic journey, we will capture images of several well-known landmarks; however, we will also explore and spend sometime in the park's lesser-known sites to provide a more comprehensive perspective of its diverse geological wonders.

Arrival Date: August 23, 2025 by 3 PM in Moab, Utah
Departure Date: August 27, 2025 anytime from Moab, Utah
Transportation Included: We will travel together in a 15 passenger van during the workshop from the hotel to our shooting locations.
