"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." - Psalm 19:1

FAQ

ENDURANCE LEVEL:

How much walking/hiking is required on the shooting location?

On all our workshops minimal walking is required. Most shooting locations are less than a football field from where we park. No locations require hiking.

TRANSPORTATION:

Can I use my own transportation to the shooting location?  You certainly can. Sometimes participants prefer that in case they want to leave earlier.

WAIVERS & INSURANCE

Workshop guests are required to sign a waiver of liability releasing Image 10 Photographic, Inc from any damage & personal injury liability while participating in any of the workshops.

If traveling from out of state - purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended for each participant. Ideally, your travel insurance will cover personal medical expenses, personal liability, lost or stolen luggage, and damaged camera equipment.

PHOTO RELEASES

Image 10 Photographic, Inc reserves the right to photograph and/or film any workshop or class it offers. It also reserves the right to use the material for marketing and promotional purposes including, but not limited to, social media, websites, and blogs.

WORKSHOP AND CLASS CANCELLATION

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Due to the limited number of workshops and spots available on workshops, once you book a spot, it no longer is available for anyone else, therefore we can not offer a refund unless the cancellation is 60 days before the workshop date for one-day workshops and 60 days before the workshop date for 2 day workshops.  Within this time period we will refund your registration fee, minus a 25% cancellation fee.

This policy is essential to ensure that those who sign up are serious and will not back out, taking the opening from someone else.

However, if for some reason a workshop or one-on-one is cancelled by Image 10 Photographic, you will be entitled to a refund or may choose a credit for a different date.

Because we rely on participants attendance in order to schedule facilities, book travel arrangements, secure needed permits and arrange lodging, please follow the following policies:

If for any reason you need to withdraw from a class or workshop, you must notify Image 10 Photographic through our Contact Form.

Within this time period we will refund your registration fee, minus a 25% cancellation fee.

If notification of cancellation is made less than 60 days before the start of the class or workshop, there is no refund.

No refund will be made for withdrawal after any class or workshop begins.

Image 10 Photographic is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies.

In the unlikely event that a class or workshop is cancelled by Image 10 Photographic, all fees may be refunded in full or may be transferred to another workshop that is scheduled within 12 months of the cancellation.

In the event of a class or workshop cancellation, Image 10 Photographic is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel, lodging, equipment rental or any other related expenses. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any non-refundable registration fees, travel, lodging, equipment rental or any other related expenses.

WEATHER

Ultimately, weather is an uncontrollable factor with night sky photography. Regardless of the conditions we will stay out and shoot as long as it is safe to do so. If weather becomes an issue, if able we will reschedule the workshop or we will work with you to move your registration to a later date. PLEASE understand, no refunds will be issued.

Clouds play a significant role while capturing the night sky. However, even during completely overcast conditions, we promise you will come away with beautiful images, knowledge, and capabilities of capturing the night sky.

Only if conditions pose a safety risk or if conditions are absolutely guaranteed to bring un-shootable conditions, will we cancel a workshop and reschedule it for a few days later or move your registration to a later workshop on our schedule.

We recommend packing a light jacket or rain poncho and bring something to keep your camera dry (a shower cap is ideal) just in case rain develops while shooting.

We reserve the right to re-schedule any workshop due to weather at any time prior to any scheduled workshop.

IF WE DECIDE TO CANCEL A WORKSHOP - NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED - WE WILL RESCHEDULE THE WORKSHOP FOR A LATER DATE.

IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND DUE TO WEATHER - NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED, BUT YOU MAY RESCHEDULE TO A WORKSHOP AT A FUTURE DATE.

There are no exceptions to our Cancellation and Transfer Policy.
